We are the UK’s Premier Children’s Tag Rugby Club.
Tag Trojans welcome boys & girls from age 4-8 of all abilities to join us, as long as they have started school. Our Tiny Trojans group caters for pre-school children aged 3+.
Over the last 20 years we’ve helped thousands of children acquire a healthy, positive attitude towards sport and develop valuable skills along the way!

Chris & Marcus lead a team of coaches who have an unrivalled ability to keep children engaged, focused and smiling. With Chris’ history of professional rugby, and Marcus’ long-term commitment to Old Pats Senior Mens Team, together they bring a wealth of rugby experience and knowledge, and have successfully adapted drills to suit very young children. The jam-packed sessions are full of fun, skill-building activities to develop ball skills, hand-eye coordination, speed, agility, strength & tactical awareness.
THE TAG TROJANS® FAMILY
With over 100 children in attendance at each of our sessions, our family of coaches and assistants need to be committed – and they are, some have been with Tag Trojans for over 10 years!
Our strict safeguarding procedures requires that DBS checks are carried out on staff and they are all briefed, before every session, on relevant child safety policies.
TAG TROJANS® SESSIONS
Our sessions are divided in to terms, and run three times a year on Sunday mornings:
Autumn Term Sept-Nov 9 weeks 9.30am – 10.30am
Spring Term Feb-Apr 8 weeks 9.30am – 10:30am
Summer Term June 3 weeks 9.30am – 11.30am
We don’t run any sessions during the Winter months, because it’s just too cold!
During the Summer, we know children like to experience other sports, so it’s a fun-packed three weeks combining rugby activities with waterslides and pools!
We recommend arriving to the sessions at least 10-15 minutes before we begin to allow enough time to park, sign in at the desk inside the marquee, and grab a ball to have a play around before the whistle blows! Signing your children in is imperative for safety, and for helping us to prepare for the session ahead. During sessions, parents can then cheer children on whilst enjoying a comforting cuppa & delicious breakfast bap, also available in the marquee with Tall Order Catering.
